rant
It has been a crazy or shall I say a hectic few weeks, the lady has popped over to spend some time in the uk, however at the same time trying to sort one’s visa out, (which proved to be very difficult) which lead me on to thinking of cross world business cultures and the ease of transactions and interpretations.Often I have thought that business should cut out the cultural aspect and focus at what is at hand, but time and time again I am proved wrong, perhaps its my interpretation of the situations I have perhaps been in, all in all I think understanding a business means understanding its culture, this could be dictated by the work force or even from country cultures.
Outsourcing is said to take many accounting and human resources positions not to mention IT, so it will be a big cultural shift for us brits to understand the ways of working and ways of learning. Is this good?
I had a few days of work to, which was spent pretty much chilling out, which I now regret, (should have updated my blog) but anyway I did go to a very nice fish restaurant for dinner by the marina.
In a bit of confused state at present being back at work, and with not much on at the moment, (I hate doing nothing). Been spending a lot of time thinking if I will actually end in Silicon Valley in the future, my stint there was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the etos and entrepreneurial spirit there and the drive that is. I have met a few people in the uk who share that passion but all in all with respect that passion can only be found in the valley.
Anyway that is my daily 10% thought and rant!!!!
